Until the Brewers imploded in the 11th inning, it was looking like we were going to get the full 10u sweep! +6 units will put us back into the black, with PLENTY of value still out there just waiting to be harnessed.
Some people have been asking me about this unit system, so I’m going to run through how the format works again. Basically, think of 1u as $100, so a 1u play means you are wagering $100. Using this system is supposed to help us track our success in a more tangible way than a simple record can, because we need to account for the Vegas odds. So, placing a 1u bet on a “favorite” at -140 we need to put $140 to win $100 (or 1.4u to win 1u). On the other hand, betting an underdog at +170, means we only need to put $100 to win $170 (or 1u to win 1.7u). Now, bringing it full circle, our +6u night last night, means anyone following The Brain, using $100 units, made $600 of pure, paper profits last night.
I hope this helped, but either way we’re all here to see the potential of this thing…so i’ll end it there…here are the picks for tonight!
